We’re officially 12 days into January..

How’s it all going?

Are you making progress?

Sometimes making changes, learning new things and trying to achieve your goals can be scary.

They say that kids learn the best because they don’t have any preconceived notions.

They have no fear, because they haven’t experienced anything to be fearful of.

They’re willing to try anything because no one’s judging them.

They’re not afraid to fail.

Sadly as we get older we all get afraid to try new things or tackle new goals because we’re too lazy or (more commonly) we’re afraid to fail.

We’re afraid to fail because we don’t want to be judged.

We don’t want to be the laughed at by our peers, our friends, our family.

In reality, the only person (really) judging you is yourself.

And if others do judge – who cares?

It’s YOUR life not theirs!

They’re only judging because they didn’t have the guts to try it themselves.

Too many people sell themselves way too short and it all starts in the head.

If it looks difficult and challenging then you can’t do it and because you know you can’t do it – why bother even trying?

It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy….

What you think about – you become.

The ability to overcome adversities and achieve goals (no matter how big or small) is within all of us and simply a matter of mentally conquering it.

The mind is a powerful tool!

Former pro basketball player, Michael Jordan was so talented at his ‘game’, it seemed like he had superhuman powers.

He didn’t have superpowers but he DID have a super positive mental attitude…

‘Obstacles don’t have to stop you.

If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up.

Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it’.

‘If you do the work you get rewarded, there are no shortcuts in life’.

‘To learn to succeed, you must first learn to fail’.

His quotes/attitude can be applied to anything in life.

If you didn’t achieve your goal the first time – you didn’t fail – you just haven’t reached it yet.

If you’ve been afraid to try something new because you thought it was too hard or too difficult and you’re ultimately afraid to fail, it’s time you changed your definition of failure!

Don’t let fear of failure hold you back.

Decide to succeed.

Last Friday was The Launch of BodyMax Burn.

Launching anything new is challenging and scary but believing in what you do and having the right attitude is all you need.
