And helloooooo June!!

 

Half way though the year.

Summer landing in less than 3 weeks.

 

Just thought I’d do a quick check-in to see how the first half of the year has worked out for you.

 

✅ Made any small changes?

✅ On target shifting those kg’s you promised yourself at New Year?

✅ Looking and feeling better in yourself?

✅ Enjoying more energy and confidence?

✅ Excited to put your Summer wardrobe on?

 

Or

 

Are you eating and doing them same thing, putting in a half assed effort, still feeling uncomfortable in your clothes and still unhappy looking in the mirror yet somehow hoping something will magically change.

 

I could be wrong but I suspect many women reading are nodding their heads to the latter.

 

If that’s you.

 

If you’re NOT making the progress you had hoped for by half way through 2025.

 

Then I don’t mean to be mean but sometimes we just need some brutal honesty.

 

Firstly…

 

The 1st half of 2025 may not have gone quite as planned but here’s the good news – welcome to the 2nd half!!

 

A fresh start and opportunity to get yourself on the right track.

 

However,

 

If you don’t get your sh*t together now and start taking some action, here’s the bad news.

 

You’ll feel exactly the same in 2026, the same in 2027 and to be honest for the rest of your life as you do now.

 

And hey,

 

Life is too short to feel unfit, unhealthy or unhappy.

 

So here’s a little ‘tough love’ on 5 things that may be holding you back.

 

1️⃣ GETTING STARTED

 

Stop the repetitive BS that you’ll start after X, Y or Z.

 

This is why you still feel crap and haven’t broken the cycle.

 

If I offered you a life changing million bucks today or in 5 years time, you know your answer.

 

Your health, happiness and quality of life are PRICELESS.

 

So why put this off and not start today?

 

Nothing needs to be perfect – in reality it won’t be.

 

3 bags of crisps are better than 5.

One healthy meal is better than none.

5000 steps is better than 2000 steps.

 

Something is ALWAYS better than nothing!! – read that again.

 

2️⃣ PERSPECTIVE

 

You’re in this ‘game’ of bettering yourself and feeling happier for LIFE.

 

Not just 6 weeks or for Summer.

 

The days will pass whether you’re making positive changes and feel better in yourself or not…the ‘game’ started when you were born.

 

You’re just now an adult and currently suck at making better choices and being consistent.

 

Start sucking less and trying more!!

 

3️⃣ YOUR DAILY HABITS

 

You are what you do most of the time, not some of the time.

 

Having a takeaway, going out for a meal, enjoying the things you love are all absolutely fine.

 

However, have a look at the frequency these happen.

 

You can’t eat like a di*k, drink the whole bar every weekend and sit on your ass most of the day and expect to feel lighter, fitter or healthier.

 

Think moderation over elimination and find the right balance that works for you.

 

The sooner you start working on and slowly improving your daily habits, the sooner you’ll start getting lasting results.

 

5️⃣ BUT I HAVE NO MOTIVATION

 

Motivation is a fluffy word for people who can’t be bothered.

 

❌ Motivation = Action = Results
✅ Action = Results = Motivation

 

Nobody in this world, not even me feels motivated all the time so let’s stop using it as an excuse and start putting in some effort.

 

A little bit of effort can go a LONG way.

 

  • It will make you feel good for doing it.
  • It will help you create change by doing it.
  • It will then motivate you to put in more effort.

 

And THAT is when you’ll start seeing/feeling results.

 

And right now you have the choice:

 

6 months of progress or 6 months of ‘but I didn’t feel motivated’?

 

I get it though.

 

Creating better habits, adopting a more positive mindset, backing your chat and making changes can be hard.

 

However…

 

Getting up every day and not being happy with that person looking in the mirror is harder.
