And hellooooo Summer!!

 

If you live in Aberdeen it may not ‘feel’ like Summer (does it ever? lol) but with Easter out the way there’s only thing on everyone’s mind.

 

Sunshine, beaches, holidays, beer gardens, QT with the fam and good times ahead.

 

Oh and losing weight, toning up, shifting that ab-flab, getting rid of those muffin tops, bingo wings and generally just wanting to feel sexier and more confident.

1. Throw away TEMPTATION.

 

Bag up and get rid of any left over chocolates, biscuits, processed rubbish and other waistline expanding ‘treats’.

 

Out of sight out of mind.

 

2. Get LOTS of water down you.

 

Let’s hydrate after those Easter vino’s/beers and flush out those toxins.

 

Not to mention increase your energy and boost your fatloss.

 

Aim for a minimum of 2 litres a day.

 

3. LOAD up on a variety of veggies.

 

These badboys are supercharged with fibre, vitamins and minerals which will help your digestive system and boost your immune system.

 

4. DON’T go too crazy on the fruit.

 

No more than 2-3 portions a day.

 

Yes it’s good sugar but it’s STILL sugar.

 

5. Get PLENTY of lean meat, fish and eggs in on your weekly shop.

 

Stocking up on protein helps curb cravings and keep you fuller for longer.

 

Protein also builds lean muscle tissue = higher metabolism = better fatloss = better definition.

 

6. Stay OFF the alcohol during ‘school nights’.

 

It’ll give your liver a much needed rest as well as help out your waistline.

 

7. MAKE time for your workouts.

 

A short workout is always better than NO workout!

 

Aim to get a sweat on a minimum of 3 times a week.

8. PLAN your meals / snacks.

 

You’ll be MUCH less likely to eat crap on impulse.

Nobody else is going to do it for you.
