I’ll be revealing EXACTLY what you can expect from The MAX Experience in each blog I write so stay tuned for another clue coming Thursday!

I’ve had some AWESOME feedback so far and I’d LOVE to hear yours if I haven’t already : )

If you DID test drive it you’ll know the workout only lasted 10mins!!

Being FIT and HEALTHY doesn’t mean you have to workout for HOURS a day and eat nothing but chicken and brocolli.

Infact here’s 7 simple, MUCH more effective (and less painful!) tips YOU can use TODAY to help you get in shape not just short term but for LIFE!

1. STOP BELIEVING YOUR OWN BS.

I know you’re too busy to go to the gym.

The weather’s too bad to workout outside.

It takes too much time to prep a healthy lunch.

You would work out at home but you don’t know how.

You ate something bad today so the whole day’s a write off.

It’s too hard to find something healthy to eat when you eat out.

Yup we’ve ALL told ourselves this kind of stuff and these are valid excuses in their own way BUT…

If you REALLY want to get (and stay) fit and healthy you have to learn to STOP believing your own BS and make your health and fitness a PRIORITY.

2. WALK MORE.

One of the main keys to LIFELONG fitness is simply being more ACTIVE.

Take the stairs instead of the lift.

Try making a conscious effort to WALK instead of DRIVE next time you need something from the shop or you go to get an afternoon coffee.

Or perhaps just enjoy a post dinner stroll with your other half or the fam.

A good target is 10,000 steps a day.

There’s plenty of FREE apps out there you can download to your phone to calculate this for you.

3. DON’T DEPRIVE YOURSELF.

Striving to be ‘PERFECT’ with your nutrition 100% of the time is NEVER going to be enjoyable, realistic or sustainable.

Infact aiming for ‘perfection’ is literally setting yourself up to FAIL.

DEPRIVING yourself of all the foods you enjoy (hello crazy diets) and never having a dessert, bar of chocolate or gummy sweetie (my fave) is NOT a good strategy long term.

Cue sporadic bingeing, wrecked metabolism, mood swings and feeling crap.

Instead aim to eat healthy, nutritious foods 80-90% of the time.

When you do have a ‘treat’ ENJOY it but remember having a couple of biscuits is NOT the same as eating the whole packet!

If you want to eat the foods you love, enjoy a ‘treat’ when you want it AND get serious RESULTS in just 6 weeks,

4. FIND ACTIVITIES THAT GET YOU MOVING.

Instead of always going to the cinema or SITTING DOWN for long meals, find something ACTIVE that you and your family / friends enjoy doing.

Go for a bike ride, go for a scenic stroll, play a game of charades, go swimming, ice skating, etc.

Not only will it keep you moving and release those FEEL GOOD endorphins, you’ll no doubt have more FUN as well.

5. SHORTEN YOUR WORKOUTS.

Trying to plan an hour or MORE workout on a daily basis can put you off not just TIME wise but also MOTIVATION wise.

But what if you packed your ENTIRE workout into a super efficient 10, 20 or even 30min HIIT workout?

One that works your WHOLE body, FIRES up your fatburning and fitness, gets a SWEAT on and leaves you with an AWESOME sense of achievement.

That’s EXACTLY what my exciting new project The MAX Experience is all about.

6. MAKE SLEEP A PRIORITY.

Sooo many people underestimate the importance of sleep.

From mood, energy, concentration, daily function and fatloss getting around 7 – 8 hours sleep a night on a regular basis is ESSENTIAL.

If one of your fave TV programs is on late – RECORD it.

7. LEARN HOW TO ENJOY YOUR VEGGIES.

I get it, not EVERYONE loves veggies.

Although I’ll happily NOW reach for my cherry tomatoes, raw carrot or cauliflower I promise that wasn’t ALWAYS the case.

Infact I used to be able to eat white bread, turkey ham, chunks of cheese, butter and mayo for days (uni anyone?).

BUT

I was really unhealthy then and veggies are PACKED with nutrients, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber that help keep your WHOLE body healthy.

If you don’t like plain salad, add some olive oil, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, pepper or my current fave cottage cheese to it.

Throw them in a stir fry and go crazy with HERBS and SPICES.

Instead of just boiling them, drizzle them with olive oil, garlic and chilli and put them in the OVEN.

Blend them in a JUICE.

Get creative and get ’em down you.
