Nutrition and cravings are something that many people struggle with so here’s a few tips on what to eat to help CONTROL those pesky food cravings.


No.1 Avocados

Yup, that’s right, a FATTY food.

But this fat is a GOOD fat and these are loaded with 2 nutrients that kill belly fat: fibre and monounsaturated fats.

These little badboys also keep you full for hours.


No.2 Nut Butters

Almond and Cashew butter are loaded with monounsaturated fats and a good amount of protein that can hold off hunger and cravings….just don’t go too nut butter crazy as they’re also very calorie dense.

Delicious on an oat cake or straight from the jar!


No.3 Eggs

Need a quick breaky solution? – Eggs are the way forward.

They’re LOADED with protein, vitamin B6, V12, A, D, E, and K, as well as folate, choline, lutein, calcium, iron, phosphorus, zinc and omega-3 fatty acids… just can’t go wrong.

Source a nearby farm with free roaming chickens whenever possible for even more nutritional benefits.


No.4 Dark Chocolate

Chocolate craving? – Good News.

Dark chocolate is actually a powerful source of ANTIOXIDANTS and contains a natural ‘FAT BURNER’ called theobromine.

This actually increases the rate of fat burning that takes place in the body – BONUS!

Ensure it’s at least 80% cocoa and stick to a few squares after a healthy meal to crush those chocolate cravings.


No.5 Berries

Blackberries, strawberries and raspberries are awesome at easing those sugar cravings AND their high fibre content keeps you feeling FULL while the antioxidants and vitamins improve your health.


No.6 Wild Salmon

Another food that’s LOADED with protein and healthy omega fatty acids that will help squash those cravings and keep your blood sugar balance in check.

Eat this in the evening with some vegetables and you can kiss your cravings goodbye for the night.

That’s 6 foods right there but don’t forget about veggies and beans which are PACKED with nutrition and fibre to keep you full and SATISFIED.
